About Wes Slo Collective

I am a 4th Generation Farmer/2nd Generation Hemp Cultivator located in the Western Slope of Colorado, where  I was born and raised. I have been cultivating since 2012, but have been around this amazing medicine my entire life. My father was a cultivator in the early 70s to the 90s. His cultivars were some of the best back then, but one that always stands out in his and my uncles stories is Purple Bud aka PBud or Paonia Purple Paralyzer.

 

Story has it, the PBud was a Hindu Kush Variety. As an eager new grower I knew I had to find it. Never successful finding the Purple Paralyzer, I eventually got ahold of Pure Hindu Kush Landrace seeds in 2018 from Afghan Selection and Babaa who hunted them in Afghanistan from massive fields in 2017. I ended up buying his whole collection of every province known for the best hashish.

First I hunted the Hindu Kush seeds to find a resemblance of the famous PBud. The year was 2020 and growing was going great. Then one day my mom tells me my older cousin who was like a sister to me had a serious heart attack and is now in a coma. Months went by and nothing changed. She sadly didn't make it. We had to pull the plug. After a serious destroyed soul. I decided I could keep her around in another way. Through these amazing plants, I found a phenomenal male that year and two amazing females. One female was a hash plant all frost but not so much on terps #2, but the # 1 was like Welch's Grape juice with hints of cocoa or chocolate at the end. Delicious!!! I hit both of them creating the Kira Kush #1 and #2 line. Since then breeding has been a great outlet and amazing passion.

 

We decided to go public and share all our creations with the world. With help from the 2018 Farm Bill,  Family, Friends and other companies making this possible these hemp cultivars should be shared!
